Recently, after a lengthy, protracted administrative hearing, my client was cleared by DCFS of allegations against his daughter.

Once again, a mother tried to pervert the relationship between a father and a child after a bitter divorce. Doing so, punishes the child even more than the father.

I am so thrilled for my client who was cleared of an allegation of child abuse by DCFS after an investigation. Once again, this situation arose from a contentious divorce situation. I am so glad that he was cleared and can now move forward with his relationship with his children.

I am thrilled for my client, a dad who was cleared by DCFS after an administrative hearing. Once again, the other divorced parent fostered false complaints against a former spouse. My client received the decision from the Director of DCFS taking him off the State Central Register as a child abuser. This indication had not only impacted his relationship with his son, but his livelihood. Now, he can move forward.

Too often, while angry about an impending or completed divorce, parents try to punish their former significant others by contacting DCFS. That action, when there is no basis for abuse or neglect, harms all parties, including the kids. Please do not use this avenue for vindictive purposes.

Whether you are a dad, or a mom, please make certain that you are represented by counsel during a DCFS investigation or administrative hearing.
