Dad MEXICO WON, where are we going to go celebrate?!!!

Literally the very next morning after Mexico won, I called my dad to ask him if he wanted to go to Mexico for the weekend to celebrate and his response was "hell yes, let's go!" Immediately after that I arranged everything and booked the flight within 2hrs to leave that same night lol And just like that we ended up in Mexico celebrating alllllll weekend long!

He was soooo excited on the plane telling the flight attendant "my daughter is taking me to Mexico to celebrate." And it fills my heart with so much joy to be able to spoil my dad and have these experiences together ❤️ 🇲🇽 We are a like in so many ways with the same positive energetic energy down for anything lol

I loved being able to capture these moments for us ✨️

As a child of Mexican immigrant parents this experience means everything because they sacrificed so much to come here. Because of my parents sacrifices I was privileged with the opportunities I have now. Words and actions could never be enough to show my parents my gratitude 🙏

As I reflect on this moment, it also fuels and motivates me to keep working hard to represent and support immigrant families to assist them in having the ability to achieve their dreams and provide them with the same privileges.

🇲🇽
