Before this year comes to an end, I just wanted to share my sales year in review. Although I was a few units short of my personal sales goal, I am grateful for my success in 2024.

If you purchased a property in 2021 and you are the owner occupant, you should have received a letter from The Cook County Assessor’s office in the mail.

The letter gives specific instructions for applying for your 2022 homeowners exemption for your property taxes.

You can complete the application online on their website - quick and easy. No reason to pay more property taxes than you should.

And if you own a property prior to 2021 and don’t have your exemptions applied to your property tax bill, it’s not too late. Contact Cook County Assessor and they will help you complete a certificate of error for a refund.
