Batavia chiropractor Dr. David H. Hanson is scheduled to appear in Kane County court on September 3, at 1:30 p.m. for a possible plea entry on felony charges related to the alleged unauthorized videotaping of patients at his chiropractic office.

Clifford Law Offices represents two former patients in separate civil claims against Hanson and others. The lawsuits allege their privacy was violated and that the duty of care owed to them as patients was breached, causing emotional distress, humiliation, fear, anxiety, sleep disturbance, and other harm.

An aviation safety advocate with decades of experience handling complex aviation disasters, Bob called for greater FAA scrutiny and stronger aircraft maintenance practices, warning that repeated tire problems across multiple airlines present a serious safety concern.

On July 31, Governor JB Pritzker signed Public Act 104-0683, requiring employers with more than 25 employees to continue paying workers their regular wages while they serve on jury duty. The law takes effect January 1, 2027.

Keith Hebeisen, partner at Clifford Law Offices and past president of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, advocated for this change after seeing firsthand how unpaid jury service can place significant financial pressure on jurors. In May 2026, he testified before the Illinois Senate in support of employer-paid jury leave.
