Meet: Linda America Santiago – Attorney Advisor, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
At the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Linda brings passion and expertise to the Government Contracts Advice and Litigation practice area for the Department with a specialty in Suspension and Debarment proceedings. With a background in over 15 years of Federal Government service, Linda is dedicated to advancing justice, equity, and community impact.

Meet: Fatima Garcia – Senior Attorney at the IRS, Office of Chief Counsel
Fatima is a seasoned tax attorney with extensive experience in both transactional tax matters and tax litigation. She currently serves as a Senior Attorney at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, where she works on a wide range of tax litigation matters within the Litigation & Advisory Division. She is presently a Detailee with the Strategic Litigation Division, the division responsible for some of the most complex, high-profile, and significant cases before the United States Tax Court.
Alongside her legal career, she has made meaningful community engagement a defining aspect of her professional identity. She is the founder of the Mi Camino Scholarship, which supports graduating female students from East and West Aurora High School who aspire to pursue careers in law. Her leadership within the tax community has been recognized through her appointment by the ABA Tax Section to the Public Service Fellowship Committee, and through her selection as a past inaugural fellow of the ABA Tax Section’s Loretta Collins Argrett Fellowship.
Guided by the principle of “Lift As We Climb,” Fatima believes that true leadership is defined not only by professional achievement, but by the doors we open for others along the way.
