Leadership transitions are a moment to reflect β€” on the work that shaped an institution, and on what comes next.

Wendy Soto spent 14 years ensuring Wyoming's judicial conduct and ethics process ran with integrity and care. That kind of tenure doesn't just fill a role β€” it defines one. As she steps into retirement, the Commission carries forward the foundation she built.

Sam Shumway steps in with deep roots in Wyoming law and public service, and a clear sense of why this work matters. We're glad to see the Commission's mission in such capable hands.

Congratulations to Sam, and heartfelt thanks to Wendy for everything she gave to Wyoming's judiciary.

Turns out "I don't have time" hits different when the CLE is virtual and done in under an hour. πŸ‘€

This summer and fall, the Wyoming State Bar is bringing you a lineup of practical, virtual programs built around what's actually happening in legal practice right now β€” no travel required, no full-day commitment.

We're talking AI tools your firm can actually use, prompt engineering for lawyers, and a hard look at how law firm marketing has changed β€” and what you might have missed.
If any of that sounds overdue, registration is open now at WyomingBar.org.

If demand were predictable and steady, getting clients would be simple: promote your capabilities and wait. Unfortunately, you cannot force legal demand to appear. But you can ensure you are well-positioned to seize the opportunity when it does. https://buff.ly/3h0UAmh
