On this National Waffle Day, I'd like to give a shoutout to Waffle House and its iconic yellow Scrabble-style trademark. The restaurant first adopted the logo in 1955 and it's still in use today!

Alyssa and I had so much fun last weekend when my cousins and their kids came to visit us from New York! We chowed at a delicious southern food buffet, hung out at the zoo, played Lava Quest, and went to a Columbia Fireflies minor league game. A fantastic time had by all!
