Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001.

Twenty-five years later, the events of that day remain etched in the memories of so many of us. We remember where we were, what we were doing, and the disbelief and fear as we tried to reach the people we loved.

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders and ordinary people who stepped forward in unimaginable circumstances.

May the 2,977 souls lost that day rest in peace. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

A little behind-the-scenes look at today as a mobile notary! 🚗📄

I originally had two mortgage signings scheduled, but one had to be postponed because a signer did not have the two valid forms of identification required for the appointment—even though the identification requirements had been explained beforehand.

While New York allows certain alternative methods of identification in some situations, mortgage and real estate transactions typically have stricter requirements from the lender and title company. Always confirm what identification you’ll need before your appointment so your signing can proceed as scheduled.

Now I’m scanning documents and heading to UPS to ship the completed package. Later, I’m switching from notary work to wedding officiant duties! I’ll be performing a ceremony at my local park and setting up my floral arch for the couple. 💍

Happy Saturday! ☀️ It is an absolutely beautiful day here in the Hudson Valley!

Starting my morning at Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, assisting a client with a Power of Attorney, and later today I’ll be switching hats to perform a wedding ceremony under my second business One Love Ceremonies & Events. 💍

One thing about being self-employed, no two days ever look quite the same! 🥰

For those who need notary services but aren’t able to travel, I do offer mobile appointments, including hospitals, nursing facilities, homes, and other locations throughout the Hudson Valley.

Feeling great today and grateful for this gorgeous weather. Wishing everyone a blessed, beautiful Saturday! ❤️

Headed out to Columbia County today for a Power of Attorney signing! 🚗📄

My Google Business page has definitely been doing its job, and I’m grateful that people are finding me when they need mobile notary services—even outside my usual service area.

I was happy to assist this family with getting their documents properly notarized, and I’m wishing the signer a smooth recovery. ❤️

🏥 Need a notary but you or a loved one is in the hospital, rehabilitation center, assisted living facility, or unable to travel? I offer mobile notary services and can come directly to you.

Please note: The signer must be alert, willing to sign, and able to communicate that they understand what they are signing.

📍 Serving the Hudson Valley and available for extended-distance appointments when scheduling permits.

When it comes to notarizing documents for an elderly loved one, there are important rules that protect everyone involved.

A signer must be able to:
✔️ Understand what they’re signing.
✔️ Sign of their own free will.
✔️ Answer questions without being coached or pressured.

Even if the document is something as important as a Power of Attorney, a notary cannot proceed if the signer doesn’t have the mental capacity to understand what they’re signing. In those situations, the appropriate legal process may involve seeking court authority, depending on the circumstances.

These safeguards are there to help prevent fraud and protect vulnerable individuals.

Have questions about a notarization? I’m happy to help explain the process and whether a document is ready to be notarized.

You can be happy.
You can start over.
You can build something from nothing.
You can take a chance on yourself.
You can learn a new skill.
You can create opportunities.
You can be successful.
You can keep going, even when the path isn’t easy.

Sometimes all it takes is looking out at a view like this and remembering how much is still possible.

Today’s drive to Rockland County for a partial real estate closing reminded me that every assignment started with one decision to say yes. One client became another. One opportunity led to the next. The journey is still unfolding, and that’s the exciting part.

If you need a mobile notary who comes to you for estate planning documents, real estate signings, general notarizations, apostilles, or more, I’d be honored to help.

📍Serving Orange County, Rockland County, and surrounding areas. Reach out today to schedule your appointment.

Just because I haven’t been posting doesn’t mean I haven’t been working. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look from a real estate closing earlier this week, where I was hired on behalf of the lender to handle the closing package. From collecting and verifying certified checks to organizing and securing the signed documents for return, every detail matters to help keep the transaction moving smoothly.

Whether you’re buying, selling, refinancing, or need documents notarized, I’m here to make the process as convenient and professional as possible. I also provide estate planning signings, apostille facilitation, online notarizations (where permitted), loan signings, and general mobile notary services throughout the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas.

One signing, one beautiful drive, and another client taken care of. 🚗📄

Today an attorney I’ve worked with before sent me to Columbia County to assist one of their clients with a general notarization. The drive was absolutely worth it—the scenery was stunning, the signing was just two pages, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. No surprises, no pushback on the fee, just another successful appointment.

If you’re looking for a reliable mobile notary who travels to meet your needs, I’d be happy to help. Reach out to schedule your appointment!
