The law firm was originally chartered by the Virginia State Corporation Commission on April 27, 1979, and came into existence through the joining together of two smaller firms, one of which was headed by Cassell D. Basnight, who had been practicing law in Chesapeake, Virginia since 1962 and the other by Frederick H. Creekmore, who started practicing law in 1963. We are one of the oldest law firms originating in the City of Chesapeake. Our attorneys are dedicated to representing our client’s best interests, with an emphasis on providing quality legal services at a reasonable cost. Our attorneys have extensive expertise representing families and individuals, as well as governmental entities and businesses of all sizes.
