We’re officially halfway through 2026, but it’s never too late to address the injuries that can’t always be seen.

June is PTSD Awareness Month, a reminder that the effects of a traumatic event can last long after physical injuries have healed. Whether you've been hurt in a car accident, a workplace accident, or another serious injury incident, recovery is often about more than broken bones and medical treatment.

Research shows that approximately 1 in 5 seriously injured trauma survivors experience PTSD symptoms a year after their injury. Anxiety, flashbacks, sleep disturbances, and other emotional challenges can affect every aspect of a person's life, yet these injuries are often overlooked because they aren't visible.

At our firm, we understand that the impact of an injury extends beyond what can be seen on an X-ray. If you've been injured in a car accident or on the job, it's important to recognize and address both the physical and emotional effects of your injuries.

Your recovery matters—both physically and mentally.

A mesothelioma diagnosis can come as a shock decades after asbestos exposure, but this delayed onset is more common than many families realize. Learn why asbestos-related illnesses often develop years later and what legal options may still be available for affected individuals and their loved ones.

Safer workplaces don't happen by accident—they happen when workers have a voice.

According to the AFL-CIO, 15 states rank among the top 20 for both union membership and the lowest rates of workplace fatalities. The connection is clear: when workers stand together, they are better equipped to advocate for safer conditions, proper training, and stronger enforcement of workplace safety standards.

Every worker deserves to return home safely at the end of the day. Unions help make that possible by empowering workers to speak up, report hazards, and hold employers accountable.

Workplace safety is a right—not a privilege.

⚠️ Workplace chemical exposure is more common—and more dangerous—than many workers realize.

According to the AFL-CIO’s Death on the Job report, occupational diseases caused by workplace chemical exposure are responsible for more than 50,000 deaths and 190,000 illnesses each year, including cancers, lung disease, nerve damage, reproductive harm, and other serious health conditions. Many of these risks are preventable with proper safeguards, training, and employer accountability.

No worker should have to choose between earning a paycheck and protecting their health.

If you believe you’ve been exposed to hazardous chemicals at work—or your employer failed to provide a safe workplace—you may have legal rights.
