“ I am deeply honored to be recognized as a 2025 Virginia Business Legal Elite honoree in Criminal Law. In a profession where recognition is often abundant, this distinction carries special meaning because it comes directly from the respect and confidence of fellow attorneys across the Commonwealth.
Virginia Business, in partnership with the Virginia Bar Association, has highlighted excellence in the legal profession for more than two decades. This year, thousands of attorneys were invited to nominate peers they believe exemplify skill, integrity, and dedication. To be selected among such an accomplished group is both humbling and profoundly meaningful.
For me, this recognition represents more than a professional milestone. It reflects trust. Trust from colleagues who understand the responsibility that comes with defending individuals at their most vulnerable moments, and who recognize the care, diligence, and resolve required in criminal defense work.
This honor also brings to mind the mentors and colleagues who shaped my path. I am grateful for those who challenged me, guided me, and believed in me long before recognition followed. Their influence continues to shape how I practice law and how I serve my clients.
