🚨 Union County Homeowners! 🚨

I met with the head of Union County Tax Administration yesterday, and here’s the scoop:

📬 2025 reappraisal notices have been mailed out. The purpose of this reappraisal is to catch up with market changes since the last reappraisal in 2021. Typically, assessed values (tax values) are lower than market values because the market is constantly moving. But during a reappraisal, assessed values are meant to reflect estimated market values as of January 1st of the reappraisal year.

💡 The good news? The new tax bills won’t come out until this summer, and the county is lowering the tax rate. So, don’t stress until you see that bill—unless you want to dispute your assessed value.

Good morning! Just wanted to give you an update. The KWCarolinas Region has been on several calls over the past 24 hrs checking in on our associates. A KWCares Truck is loaded with 150 generators and arriving in Simpsonville today. The roads are impassable up to Asheville and Boone so the hardest part is getting help to these people. We will keep you updated as volunteer opportunities or donations are needed.
