degree in psychology from the University of Florida in 1982 and his law degree from Nova University in 1987. He was one of the first lawyers in North Carolina to become a North Carolina State Bar Certified Specialist in Social Security Disability Law. George is a member of the North Carolina State Bar’s Specialization Committee for Social Security Disability Law; is a member of the Board of Direct

ors, serving as Vice Chair of the Disability Advocacy Section of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice; and serves on the Lawyers’ Assistance Committee of the Disability Advocacy Section and the CLE Committee of the Disability Advocacy Section. George has practiced law for over 24 years and has focused the last 17 years of his practice on Social Security Disability, Veterans Disability, and Railroad Disability. George is admitted to all courts of the State of North Carolina, the Western, Middle, and Eastern District Courts of North Carolina, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, the National Organization of Social Security Claimant Representatives, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, the Mecklenburg County Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice.
