➡️ MARKET IN A MINUTE: LET’S LOOK AT THE BIGGER PICTURE
Yes, the real estate market is changing—but don’t let one number send you into a panic.
Over the past 12 months, home prices in Cabarrus County have dropped 7.8%. But even with interest rates slightly higher, that lower price could make the same home about $150 less per month than it would have been last year.
That’s why you can’t judge the market by prices or interest rates alone. The monthly payment is what matters.
And every market has its own personality. Concord, Kannapolis, Harrisburg, Mount Pleasant and Midland all behave differently. Mecklenburg is down a bit, Union is up, Burke looks similar to Cabarrus, and some of the best opportunities may be in Caldwell County.
If you’re waiting for rock-bottom prices and rock-bottom rates to arrive together, you may need a time machine back to 2010—and most people were too scared to buy then!
👉 Real estate is a long-term, tangible investment. The right time to move depends on your life, your goals and your numbers.
Yes, you can buy.
