Reality TV & social media can make real estate look simple - but there’s a lot you don’t see. It's showing up everyday and making a commitment to your clients - the people entrusting you with one of their biggest life moments!

It's putting on your big girl boots when the deal falls apart the day before closing. It's having a "woosah' moment after the clients you toured 8 new construction communities with "ghosted" you (yep - speaking from personal experience here) 😏

🎉Huge congrats to this amazing fam on their new home!

We searched for nearly a year in a specific part of Charlotte, but options were slim. Once we took a step back & pivoted, things opened up - and BOOM 💥 they scored a spacious 5 bedroom with a finished basement 🙌 More than enough space; I joked that I was gonna move in and they wouldn't even know!

Sometimes a little break and a fresh perspective makes all the difference. So excited for this next chapter! 💛

📈 New listings: +2% compared to June of last year - giving buyers more options to choose from

💰 Median Sales Price: is holding strong - up 2% YOY

⏳ Days on Market: have increased by 38% (40 days vs 29 days last year) - meaning homes are taking longer to sell

What does it all mean for sellers & buyers?

🔑 Sellers: We are still in a seller's market, but it’s not the same one you knew & loved a few years ago. Pricing your home right is key! You don’t want it to become “stale”.

🛋️ Buyers: You’ve got a little more time (READ: Not a lifetime) to make thoughtful decisions. INSIDER TIP: The longer a home sits, the more negotiating power you may have — think price flexibility or seller-paid closing costs. 💸

"CONGRATS" 🎉to my clients-turned-friends, Mike & Jessica!

One of my favorite parts of this job? The amazing people I get to meet (and yep, I’ve had a few duds too). But these two….*chef's kiss*. They were referred to me by an out-of-town agent who gave me a little sneak peek into their personalities, which I appreciated. The moment we met (after a marathon showing of 12 homes in one day), I knew this would be more than just a transaction. We all clicked instantly!

Fast forward to now… they've closed on a beautiful 4 bed, 3 bath urban farmhouse on ~2 acres that we humorously dubbed “Country Living.” 🏡
