Who’s at fault? At about 20 seconds my client comes to a stop - at the stop sign. At about 50 seconds he pulls away from the stop sign, and his vehicle was literally cut in two by a speeding Tesla. Despite him being considered at fault, our investigation and team was able to prove otherwise. Not only were we able to show the other vehicle was traveling too fast (and faster than the Tesla says it was going) we were able to recover our client every bit of bodily injury money we could recover on multiple vehicles, and we were also able to get the at fault to pay punitive damages based on their reckless driving. Luckily, our client made a full recovery and is enjoying his new vehicle!

Appreciation to Bart Liebmann for organizing the route and leading the ride. Bart also made the key suggestion regarding Rocky Mountain ATVMC which has now turned into a partnership between us to help generate funding that goes directly back into our trails. More on that coming soon. 😊

This is just the beginning. We’ve already secured our state trails formal partnership, a federal volunteer agreement and are actively working toward a formal federal partnership that will support long-term improvements across all five South Carolina public OHV trail systems.

There’s serious work ahead, and it will require significant funding—but this event proved what’s possible. Strong turnout, strong support, and real momentum.

Proud to be part of bringing an off-road motorcycle event back to the Charleston area with the help of Wambaw Trail Riders. This event will take place in the Francis Marion National Forest, where motorcycle events took place dating back to the early 1970s. It has been around two decades since an organization has hosted an event in the Francis Marion National Forest. We are excited and proud to be part of the re-emergence. All proceeds are to help fund and maintain the public riding areas across the state. This is the first of many charitable rides to come.

Big thanks to Bart Liebmann and Kenny, the Law Office of Kenneth G. Goode, Jr., LLC for the vision and drive behind this event. This is what the rider community is all about—good people, enjoying the forests and outdoors, plus time well spent together. Looking forward to this one and many more community meet ups (and types for all) to come!
