About this time of year, in 2003, we lost my mom to ovarian cancer. She was perfect in every way… as mom’s tend to be. A year after she passed away, I wrote this note that was published in the newspaper and wanted to share it with you as we go into Mother’s Day weekend.

Don’t forget to call mom on Sunday, or visit if you can- and maybe give her a bigger and longer hug than usual, Lord knows what she has done to take care of you. Happy Mothers Day to the moms that make it all happen!
