MLS Areas are going away, but finding the right properties isn’t.

Beginning January 4, 2027, the MLS Areas field will be removed from Flexmls, giving you more flexible ways to search based on how you and your clients actually navigate the market.

And good news: you don’t need to rebuild your existing saved searches. They’ll be automatically updated in January.

Heads up: ShowingTime is adding a new layer of security. 🔐

Beginning tomorrow, August 25, 2026, ShowingTime will require users accessing the platform through the mobile app to log in with multi-factor authentication (MFA).

A few important things to know:
• MFA codes will be sent to the email address listed in your ShowingTime profile
• Accessing ShowingTime through the MLS LaunchPad is not affected because it uses single sign-on (SSO)
• Mobile app users will be prompted to set up MFA beginning August 25

Be sure your email address is up to date in your ShowingTime profile before the change takes effect.

If you are interested in soliciting a listing from the MLS, be sure that there is not an active listing agreement still in place!

If the status is “Temporarily Off Market” it is simply on a temporary hold and is still under a listing agreement. These listings should not be solicited.
