I didn’t choose physician real estate because it sounded like a good niche.
I chose it because my husband and I lived the problem.
I was a nurse. He was finishing residency. We got married ten days after he graduated, moved to Colorado, started new jobs and began building a family—without anyone ever telling us physician loans existed.
We made it work, but buying homes with student debt and very little saved was much harder and more confusing than it needed to be.
When I entered real estate, I started calling lenders and asking one question: “Do you offer physician loans in Colorado?”
I wanted other medical families to have better information than we did.
Today, that has grown into helping physicians through residency, fellowship, attending moves, growing families, selling, relocating and building long-term wealth. Because you shouldn’t have to explain your medical career to the person helping you make one of your biggest financial decisions.
Wherever medicine takes you, PREN wants you to know your options. 🤍
