Meet our new Executive Director, Jason Kronsberg!

A veteran parks leader and Charleston native, Kronsberg brings decades of experience in park stewardship, deep ties to the community, and a vision for enhancing the city’s public spaces through strong partnerships and leadership.

Prior to his appointment, Kronsberg served as Parks Director and Section Chief of Facilities and Capital Projects at the City of Charleston, overseeing the design, maintenance, and operation of more than 125 parks and public spaces citywide. In that role, he partnered closely with the Conservancy on numerous community-driven initiatives and capital projects. As a former member of the Conservancy’s Board of Directors, he also brings firsthand insight into the organization’s mission, partnerships, and impact.
