To my friends and family, I’m sure you know that I rarely post here and I will not be viewing whatever well wishes and love you are sending my way today on my birthday. This is not to say I do not appreciate it. To the extent that the wonderful people in my life have recognized my birthday, I sincerely appreciate it and I sincerely love you. I have thought a great deal about this post. There was a long version of my musings on what it means to turn 60. But on further review, it truly just sounded like the rantings of some soon to be old man who got lost in his own profundity. Lol.
Suffice it to say that I have enjoyed 60 years of a blessed life on this blue pearl, 30 of which have been with the love of my life and fully 1/3 of which was joined by a dream of a son.
I offer you no answers, as I am still figuring out the questions. I will say, however, that for whatever I have accomplished or acquired, the only things I have that are of true value are the moments and memories with the ones that I love. When I’m not fighting for my Bland Richter clients, I’ll be looking to do more of that between here and the finish line. Cheers, my friends.
