You may only remove your spouse from an insurance policy or as a beneficiary during the proceedings with a written agreement from your spouse or court order.

An uncontested divorce is when both spouses come to agreements on all issues involved in the divorce --debts, property, legal decision-making (custody), child support, etc.

A contested divorce is when the spouses are unable to agree on an issue or issues. In this scenario, the parties would either hire a mediator to help them reach agreements or go through the court to litigate the disputed issue/s.

Here are some signals that might lead you thinking you should get a divorce

🔻No trust

Trust is a huge part in a relationship, it’s the glue to a marriage. Not being able to lean on your partner can but a big divide between two people, luckily this is able to be rebuilt!

🔻Fighting

Yes, all couples fight, but what if everything is a fight? This is emotionally and mentally exhausting on both parties! Understanding each others differences can be one of the main reasons for all the fighting
