Troy earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance, and has 15 years of experience in corporate finance, working for companies like Nike and MicroAge. Troy also spent 3 years in the mortgage industry, and is an active real estate investor. In his spare time, Troy works Spring Training for the Los Angeles Angels, and the Arizona Fall League for Major League Baseball. Troy grew up in a military family, so growing up he moved a lot. As an adult, Troy spent six years in the Army Reserves serving his country. He also played one season of semi-professional football in Colorado. Troy’s son recently graduated high school, and is looking forward to playing football in college. Troy also has an amazing daughter who works in the airline industry, and enjoys traveling. His beautiful and incredible wife of 20 years has carved out a nice career at Intel. Troy and his family have regularly volunteered and contributed to various charitable causes including; Feed My Starving Children, United Blood Services, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and the United Way. Many of these charities have a personal meaning to Troy and his family. Troy has received several awards for his expert industry knowledge and local real estate expertise. He has been published, quoted, and recognized by numerous real estate organizations and publications, including RealtyTimes.com, and Realtor.com. Got to love this time of year! I am so fortunate to be able to work Spring Training for the Angels. This is the view from my office every game day!

Blue skies and sunshine, green grass, and the crack of the bat. Nothing could be better.

Working for the City of Tempe and the Los Angeles Angels is something that I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to do each and every year.

🏠 Chandler, Arizona Housing Market Update for August 2023! 🏠

The average sales price of Chandler homes decreased this month after increasing last month, going from $632,009 in July to $615,769 in August. Prices are still up overall since January of this year, but not quite as high as the all-time high we saw in May of 2022.

The average sales price per square foot of Chandler homes increased for the second month in a row. The average sales price increased from $288/sf in June to $294/sf in August. This price is lower than the price per square foot of Chandler homes in August of 2022, by just $1/sf.



After decreasing for 5 straight months the Chandler days on market has increased in August, going from 36 DOM in July to 39 DOM this month. This is only the second increase for DOM in Chandler this year, and it is just about the same number as this time last year.

This is the first month that typically signifies the slowing down of the housing season in Arizona, so we should expect lower numbers the remainder of the year.

🏠 Ahwatukee, AZ Housing Market Update for July 2023! 🏠

The average sales price of homes in Ahwatukee had been on a downward trend the last 3 months. This month the average sales price of Ahwatukee homes significantly increased, going from $582,410 in June to $644,695 in July.



After increasing last month, the price per square foot of Ahwatukee homes remained the same this month as last month at $288/sf for July. This is the 8th month out of the last 11 that the price per square foot has remained the same or has decreased.



After decreasing 4 months in a row, the Ahwatukee days on market increased this month, going from 34 DOM in June to 56 DOM this month. There still should be demand for homes in Ahwatukee throughout the summer as we head into the slower part of the Arizona housing market.
