At Spiros Law, we recognize that our clients’ cases often involve many different avenues of recovery. Recently, Spiros Law Partner Miranda Soucie put the pieces of the puzzle together when she secured a combined workers’ compensation, personal injury liability, and underinsured motorist settlement totaling $260K on behalf of our client who was injured while driving between job sites when another driver ran a stop sign.

As a result of the crash, our client suffered multiple non-surgical back fractures. Our team worked to pursue every available avenue of recovery to ensure our client’s injuries, losses, and future needs were fully addressed. Through persistence and advocacy, we were able to obtain meaningful results across all aspects of the case.

Congratulations to Spiros Law Attorney Jennifer Eldridge who recently secured a $225K settlement for our client who was injured at work when a forklift struck her, injuring her hand and leg. After the injury, the employer closed, creating added challenges in the workers’ compensation case.

Despite this challenge, Jennifer pushed forward in the pursuit of justice. After receiving an initial offer of $175K, Jennifer knew the offer did not fully reflect our client’s injuries and refused to stop fighting until ultimately securing the final settlement of $225K.

We are grateful for Jennifer’s dedication and her commitment to ensuring injured workers receive the justice they deserve.

We would like to congratulate Spiros Law Partner Danielle Cain who fought hard for our client who suffered a brain bleed and head injury after being struck by a vehicle while walking into the gas station.

Danielle secured the underlying $25K policy but did not stop there. She continued fighting until she also obtained the full $75K in underinsured motorist coverage, resulting in a full policy limit, $100K total settlement.

We are proud to recognize Spiros Law Attorney Jennifer Eldridge for her work on a challenging workers' compensation case involving a nursing home employee who contracted COVID and unfortunately passed away. Initially, the nursing home and insurance company tried to avoid responsibility despite the fact the nursing home was cited for OSHA violations.

After a long fight, Jennifer secured a $250K settlement for the family. This outcome reflects our commitment to our clients, and it reinforces the importance of safer working conditions for those who care for vulnerable community members.

Please join us in congratulating Spiros Law Partner Danielle Cain on securing a $150K settlement on behalf of our client, who was injured when a pickup truck ran a stop sign and crashed into her car.

Our client suffered a concussion and bruising as a result of the crash. The insurance company initially offered $80K in an attempt to quickly resolve the case. Danielle knew that offer did not reflect the impact of our client’s injuries and continued to fight for a fair outcome.

Through her persistence and advocacy, Danielle was able to secure a $150K settlement for our client. We are grateful for her commitment to standing up for our clients and ensuring they receive the justice they deserve!

We are excited to share that Spiros Law Partner Miranda Soucie will serve as invited faculty for the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Art of Witness Preparation Webinar Series. This two-part program is designed to help plaintiff attorneys strengthen witness preparation and improve testimony outcomes through practical, trial ready techniques.

As part of Part One of the series, Miranda’s session, “Witness Role-Playing: Building Confidence Through Readiness,” will focus on preparing witnesses through process driven preparation, effective feedback, and techniques that help witnesses feel supported and confident before testimony. Her presentation will also discuss the value of third party perspective in helping witnesses communicate clearly and effectively.

Miranda’s continued involvement in attorney education reflects her commitment to mentorship, preparation, and advocacy for those who have been seriously injured. We are proud to see her contributing alongside respected faculty from across the country.
