Help us officially welcome our newest Associate Attorney, Lauren Sulentic!
Lauren Sulentic earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in International Business with a minor in Human Rights from Drake University, graduating in May 2024. Through Drake University's 3+3 Business/Law Program, she completed her undergraduate degree requirements in three years and began law school during what would have been her senior year, with her first-year law courses fulfilling the remaining undergraduate credit requirements. This allowed her to earn both her bachelor's degree and her Juris Doctor in just six years. She graduated from Drake University Law School in May 2026.
During law school, Lauren gained experience in both litigation and corporate legal practice. She served as a Legal and Compliance Intern at Athene, where she researched state and federal regulations, drafted legal memoranda, and assisted with compliance, privacy, advertising, and corporate governance matters. She also worked as a law clerk at Duff Law Firm, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and briefs, and assisting attorneys with client matters across a variety of practice areas. Earlier in law school, she worked as a legal intern at Munro Law Firm, where she supported attorneys with case management, discovery, and court filings.
Originally from Cedar Falls, Iowa, Lauren is excited to return to the Cedar Valley to begin her legal career and serve the community she calls home.
Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys traveling, staying active, discovering local restaurants and coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends.
