Today is Purple Thursday.
Across the country, people are wearing purple to stand with survivors of domestic violence. We're standing with them too โ and all month, we'll be sharing a series of cards that name what control and abuse really look like. Naming it is often the first step out of it.
So much abuse leaves no bruises: isolation, financial control, intimidation, being made to feel you're the problem. Arizona law now recognizes these patterns as domestic violence.
If any of this feels familiar, there's a quiet place to start. The Family Law Navigator has a private check-in โ "Is this for me?" โ that saves nothing and sends nothing. It points you toward safety planning, advocates, housing, and help deciding whether an order of protection is right for you.
Take the check-in whenever you're ready: familylawnavigator.com/is-this-for-me
Watch this space all month.
