We're pleased to share that we’ve been recognized as a 2026 Bush Prize: Minnesota finalist! As such we are the recipients of an unrestricted grant to use towards legal assistance to low income individuals in accordance with the rules and regulations of LSC. Today is the last day to register to vote on-line in Minnesota IF you are not already registered. Remember that any U.S. Citizen in MN who is 18 or order and not in prison can vote. It doesn’t matter if you have a felony or are on probation. People can register at the polls if they miss today. Here is the link.

You can be evicted in Minnesota in the winter. Many people misunderstand the “Cold Weather Rule” that is in effect October 1 through April 30. All that means is your home heating cannot be stopped IF you qualify AND enter into a payment contract with your utility company. So call the company. You also need to be under 50% of the state median household income to qualify.

Pay rent. Call your utility company if you are having issues paying the heating bill.
