Good article. I have been known to use this quote as well. I think this is an important reminder that rates are not predictable and therefore you have to be able to weather rates longer term, just in case.

According to a new study from Truework, younger buyers may be counting too heavily on their ability to refinance. Make them aware of the potential risks, and encourage sound financial decisions.

But for projects that recoup most or all of their cost, owners should think smaller, according to a newly released "2025 Remodeling Impact Report" from NAR and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.
