Tisinger Vance, P.C. is pleased to announce that attorneys Zack Thompson and Brianna Maxwell have been named partners in the firm. Their promotions recognize their outstanding legal work, dedication to client service, and significant contributions to the firm’s continued growth.
About Zack Thompson:
Thompson has practiced with Tisinger Vance since 2016, focusing on professional malpractice, insurance defense, appellate work, commercial litigation, and representation of electrical cooperatives and utilities. He is licensed to practice law in Georgia and Alabama and represents clients in both state and federal courts.
Thompson joined the firm after graduating cm laude from the Georgia State University College of Law, where he served as an Associate Legislation Editor of the Georgia State University Law Review, externed with the Honorable Presiding Justice P. Harris Hines of the Georgia Supreme Court, and graduated with highest pro bono distinction. Prior to law school, he earned his B.A. in English from the University of Georgia.
Originally from Newnan, Thompson is a lifelong supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta’s professional sports teams. Thompson is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Carroll. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, reading, and spending time with his wife, Mary, and two children.
About Brianna (Sullivan) Maxwell:
Maxwell joined Tisinger Vance in 2017. Her practice centers on general litigation and insurance defense in both state and federal courts. She is licensed to practice law in both Georgia and Alabama.
A Carrollton native, Maxwell is the daughter of retired State Court Judge Bob Sullivan and Missy Sullivan. She graduated from Auburn University summa cm laude with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Italian Studies. She then went on to obtain her Juris Doctor, cm laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2017. During law school, Maxwell served as an Articles Editor and Editorial Board Member for the Georgia Law Review and was active in the Family Law Society and Student Bar Association. She is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies.
Maxwell is a 2024 graduate of Leadership Carroll and was selected as one of West Georgia’s 2024 40 under Forty. She serves on the Board of Directors of Oak Grove Montessori School and is a member of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church. Maxwell and her husband, Myles, live in the Carrollton area with their two children and are excited to welcome a third in 2026.
