We share so much of our lives online: family photos, vacations, back-to-school moments, celebrations, and sometimes our home ends up in those photos, too.

But what if someone could take that innocent photo and combine it with old real estate listing photos to get a pretty detailed picture of your home?

Here’s a simple step you can take: check your home’s listing on Zillow and see what information and interior photos are still publicly visible. You may be able to claim your property and manage what’s displayed.

And don’t stop with Zillow! The same idea applies to other major real estate websites, including Redfin, Realtor.com, and others.

A few minutes of privacy housekeeping can help you share the moments you love without giving away quite so much about your home. ❤️
