Hale & Associates, APC is looking to hire a part-time office manager/legal assistant to join our team.

This in-person role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a supportive, fast-paced environment and is committed to helping clients navigate difficult times with care and professionalism. We are looking for someone part-time from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to noon on Friday, some additional hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain office organization, including filing and document management
• Schedule appointments, court dates, and client meetings
• Draft and type correspondence, pleadings, and legal documents
• File legal documents with the court (both electronically and in-person as needed)
• Manage incoming/outgoing mail and office supplies
• Serve as the point of contact for clients, vendors, and court staff
• General administrative support for attorney(s)

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a legal or administrative role (family law experience a plus)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency with Word Perfect, Timeslips Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), zoom
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable working independently in a small office environment
• Familiarity with legal procedures and court filing systems preferred
