Beringer Law Firm is seeking an experienced office manager. Part-time or full-time position. Must be available to work in-office during business hours of Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Previous experience in a family law firm is preferable, but not required. Must have references and submit to background check.

Responsibilities include: Managing the daily operations of the firm, solving administrative problems and addressing human resources issues. Oversee firm hiring, payroll, and budget, and make budget reports to owners. Provide support services to keep projects moving. Pay is $23/hr and up, based on experience. Beringer Law Firm is seeking a qualified receptionist. Candidates must be able to provide a positive first impression of the company at all times while in charge of answering phones and welcoming visitors. You will need excellent attention to detail and exemplary customer service delivery, written and verbal communication skills. Must be available to work in-office Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm. Pay is $16-$20/hr depending on experience. Additional benefits for full-time employees include health insurance and employer matching on SEP IRA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Answering incomings calls, screen and direct calls accordingly
• Updates visitor calendar and maintains security by following procedures for visitors
• Coordinates set up of visitors with staff as needed
• Coordinates mail flow in and out of office, receives and distributes daily mail/deliveries
• Sorting and reviewing of incoming faxes
• Assist with supply inventory

Qualifications:
• Excellent time management and written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
• Good time management skills

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's Degree from a 4 year university

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Beringer Law Firm is looking for a law clerk with experience or desire to work in family law. Position is part-time, with opportunity to become full-time and potential for a associate attorney position upon admission to California Bar. Pay is $20-$40 an hour, commensurate with experience. Paid time off, health insurance and other benefits are available for full-time employees.

Responsibilities include assisting attorneys in all areas of discovery and litigation, drafting petitions, briefs & other legal documents under supervision of lead attorney, and other tasks as required.

Requirements: Must be enrolled and attending law school or awaiting bar results. Candidate must have basic computer skills, experience with Microsoft Word. Must be self-motivated and able to work well in a team environment. Organization and attention to detail are a must!
