Takeaway Tuesday was a full house!

Thank you to Think Local First Santa Cruz County for sponsoring another fantastic Takeaway Tuesday!

Today’s presentation, “The Recipe Behind a Full Tilt Boogie Business,” featured Gayle Ortiz of Gayle’s Bakery & Rosticceria, who shared the story behind building one of Santa Cruz County’s most iconic local businesses. From humble beginnings to decades of success, Gayle offered valuable insights, lessons learned, and inspiration for entrepreneurs and business owners alike.

It was wonderful to see such a packed room filled with local business owners and community members eager to learn and connect.

A big thank you to Gayle for sharing her journey and to everyone who attended. Events like these remind us why supporting local businesses and learning from one another makes our community stronger.
