Moved to Florida knowing no one, and little by little, that’s starting to change. ❤️🌴

I’m so grateful for my friend Kyra, who has been generous enough to welcome me into her circle and introduce me to so many wonderful women I’m just beginning to get to know.

This photo was taken at Kyra’s Broker’s Open, which was wildly successful, and if you know Kyra, you know why. She’s the kind of person who brings people together, makes everyone feel welcome, and genuinely wants to see the people around her succeed.

Starting over somewhere new isn’t always easy, so being included means more to me than she probably realizes.

I say it often, but I truly mean it: relationships will always matter more to me than transactions. 🤍

When someone chooses me to help them buy or sell a home, I don’t take that trust lightly. You’re trusting me with your home, your money, your plans, and sometimes a really big life change. I want to show up for that responsibility as the best version of myself that I can.

That’s why I’m constantly learning, asking questions, improving, and trying to get better at what I do. Not because I need to know everything, but because I want to be better prepared to serve, guide, and protect the people who choose me.

Of course I love a closing day. But what means even more to me is what happens afterward.

It’s when a past client calls me again because they’re ready for their next move. It’s when someone sends me a friend, neighbor, or family member and says, “Call Shellie. She’ll take care of you.”

That kind of referral means more to me than any number of likes or followers ever could. Because it tells me I did my job in a way that made someone feel cared for.

I don’t just want clients for one transaction. I want to be your Realtor for years to come, and hopefully, somewhere along the way, become a friend too.

That’s the kind of business I want to build. One relationship at a time. ❤️

The older I get, the more I realize life is about balance.

Work hard. Take the trip. Try the new hobby. Spend time with family and friends. Love on your dogs. Laugh at yourself when you hit the golf ball straight into the marsh. 🤦🏼‍♀️
