Canaveral National Seashore to Repair and Preserve Roads and Parking Areas in the Playalinda Beach District:

Canaveral National Seashore, Playalinda Beach district has begun a Federal Highways pavement preservation project. Visitors to the seashore should expect limited access to some parking areas and roadways to include vistas. Seashore staff and informational signs will have daily access information as it is available. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we strive to improve the infrastructure of Canaveral National Seashore.

🌟 On July 29, 2025, the City of Cape Canaveral proudly welcomed Mr. Keith Touchberry as the new City Manager at a special swearing-in ceremony held at City Hall. The oath of office was administered by City Attorney Anthony Garganese, marking the start of an exciting chapter for our beloved City! 🏛️

With over 10 years experience in Public Service, as both Assistant City Manager and Police Chief in Fellsmere, Mr. Touchberry brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for community service. He is a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a dedicated 36-year law enforcement officer, his commitment to integrity, leadership, and community-building is unparalleled.🇺🇸👮‍♂️

As Cape Canaveral’s new City Manager, Mr. Touchberry is ready to continue strengthening our City’s core values—exceptional public service, fiscal responsibility, resiliency, and a high quality of life for all residents. 🌴✨
