A Burleson County Broker recently reached out because their clients needed a Power of Attorney notarized for a real estate transaction. The catch? It needed to happen on a holiday weekend, with scanbacks and FedEx overnight dropped the same day.

Of course, I said yes. 😊

One thing I’ve learned from years in the mortgage and real estate world is that closings don’t always happen during “normal business hours.” Sometimes transactions require flexibility, coordination, and a notary willing to help keep everything moving smoothly behind the scenes.

One thing I’ve learned after 15+ years in the mortgage industry?

A smooth closing experience matters — no matter where the signing takes place.

Yesterday’s mobile loan signing appointment took me out to Blanco, Texas for a real estate closing surrounded by some pretty incredible Hill Country views.

Before becoming a mobile notary and loan signing agent, I spent more than 15 years working in the mortgage industry on the lender side — which means I understand just how important accuracy, communication, efficiency, and attention to detail really are throughout the closing process.

Whether documents are signed at a title office, a client’s home, or somewhere out in the Texas Hill Country, my goal is always the same: Provide a smooth, professional signing experience from start to finish. 🩷

Come along with me on a mobile notary appointment in the Texas Hill Country. 🚙

Today’s loan signing took me from Canyon Lake to Blanco — and like most mobile notary appointments, there was a whole lot happening behind the scenes besides just signatures.

The day included:
✔️ a quick walk before hitting the road
✔️ protein bar survival mode
✔️ beautiful Hill Country views
✔️ a client-recommended local coffee stop
✔️ parking lot scanbacks for review
✔️ mild emotional trauma at the gas pump
✔️ and a final stop to overnight original documents before heading home

People often only see the “sign here” part of this job… but there are a lot of moving pieces happening behind the scenes to help closings stay on track smoothly.

And honestly?
I kind of love the adventure of it all. 🩷
