Stark County Market Check 🏡✅️

July gave us some encouraging signs in the Stark County+ real estate market.

Here’s what the numbers looked like:

🏡 651 new homes came on the market
🔑 473 homes sold
💰 Average sale price: $271,619
⏱️ Average time on market: 28 days

The price trend is worth watching, too:

May: $264,215
June: $269,775
July: $271,619 📈

So what does that actually mean?

Buyers are seeing a few more homes to choose from, while sellers are still seeing prices move in the right direction. And with the average home selling in about a month, there’s still plenty of activity out there.

Of course, countywide numbers only tell part of the story. Your neighborhood, price range and type of property can paint a very different picture.

School buses are back on the roads! 🚌 Thank you to the Ohio Traffic Safety Office for this helpful graphic and explanation of when to stop for buses.

"Stay alert and know when to stop: On a two or three lane road - drivers on BOTH SIDES of the road must stop when a bus is dropping off or picking up students. On roads with four or more lanes – drivers traveling the opposite direction of the bus DO NOT have to stop."
