In January of this year, Attorney Sarno worked tirelessly to achieve an amazing result for a client that was accused of attempted murder in the 2nd degree in upstate New York. He was facing 5-25 years in prison, and Attorney Sarno was able to get the charges reduced from a class B violent felony down to a class D non-violent felony (reckless endangerment in the 1st degree) and five years probation. Attorney Sarno hired Anthony J. Colleluori, Esq. as a consultant on the case. While Attorney Sarno led the way and called all the shots, Attorney Colleluori provided invaluable advice and guidance from beginning to end in this very serious matter. Additionally, Ed Dowd and Yael Rom of Intuit Investigative Resources tracked down witnesses and evidence that created glaring weaknesses in the government's case, while Dr. Caleb Newman-Polk created a compelling psycho-social evaluation that helped explain our client's mental state at the time of the event. Special mention to Robert Mulligan, M.P.S., R-LCSW, who also provided guidance regarding the forensics in this case. In the end, Attorney Sarno synthesized all of the evidence and information available both to the defense and the government to persuade the Court to sentence our client to five years probation.
