💦💙 My heart is soo FULL. 💙💦

When we started planning One Last Splash, the goal was pretty simple — bring people together, support some great local businesses, let the kids have fun, and enjoy one more summer Saturday.

And y’all SHOWED UP. ❤️

The pool stayed busy, the event center was full, the food was flowing, kids were playing, and everywhere I looked there were friends, families and neighbors visiting and enjoying the day.

A huge thank you to RV64 Resort & Venue, Craft 64 and Sugar Kiss for jumping into this with me and helping turn an idea into such a fun community event. And thank you to every friend, family member and community member who came out, shared the event, helped behind the scenes or simply stopped by to say hello.

This is exactly why I love doing things like this.

Building Community, One Event at a Time. 💙

Praying for his family and coworkers!!!

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Kevin Walden, Water Treatment Plant Lead Operator, and a valued member of the City of Canton family.

Kevin was not only a dedicated employee, but a friend, colleague, and part of the close-knit family that makes up our City organization. His passing was unexpected, and he will be deeply missed by his coworkers and the many people who had the opportunity to know him.

Kevin, in his spare time, enjoyed woodworking and leatherworking. Kevin was preparing for a mission trip to India with his church in September.

Our thoughts are with Kevin’s wife, Heather, and the rest of his family and friends as they face this tremendous loss.

Please join us in remembering Kevin and keeping his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
