Passing along a piece of history from Gorham historical society!

In the dead of winter, Henry Knox pulled off one of the greatest logistical feats of the American Revolution. He led the “Noble Train of Artillery” more than 300 miles, hauling 59 cannons and mortars from Fort Ticonderoga to General Washington’s army outside Boston.

Those guns changed everything! Giving the Continental Army the firepower it needed and ultimately ending the Siege of Boston.
