Today, we remember and celebrate Dolly Parton not only for the music, joy and unmistakable sparkle she shared with the world, but for the extraordinary generosity that defined her life. ❤️

Dolly believed deeply in giving back. Through her Imagination Library, she helped put hundreds of millions of books into the hands of children around the world. She also gave generously to medical research, disaster relief, education and families in need, often stepping forward simply because she saw an opportunity to help.

Her songs will live on, but so will something even greater: the countless lives made better because she chose to use her success to lift others up.
