Teacher Appreciation Week means so much to me personally and professionally.
I have always believed that a school district is the heartbeat of a community. Schools impact every single one of us — regardless of our age, whether we have children in school, or whether our own school days are long behind us. Strong schools help build strong communities.
Now more than ever, our teachers, administrators, and school staff need our support, our encouragement, and our appreciation. Not just with words… but with our actions. Public education matters, and the people who dedicate their lives to serving our students deserve to know how valued they truly are.
This week, our company was incredibly blessed to celebrate the teachers and staff in our local school districts by delivering donuts to every school and partnering with The Lemon Patch, a local company, to serve a variety of refreshing lemonade drinks. It was a small gesture of gratitude for the enormous difference our educators make every single day.
No school system is perfect. But the truth is, none of us are perfect either. We can all find problems in every aspect of life — every school, every business, every person, every community. The real question is: will we choose to be part of the problem or part of the solution?
None of us live in glass houses. Instead of throwing stones, we should be laying stones — building stronger foundations for the future of our children and our communities. Real change begins with the person we see in the mirror.
Teachers shape lives. Staff members comfort children, encourage students, solve problems, and carry burdens most people never see. Their work matters. Their sacrifice matters. And they deserve to feel appreciated not just this week, but all year long.
Please join me in reaching out to a teacher, administrator, or staff. Send a note. Say thank you. Offer encouragement. Find a way to support our schools and make a difference. Let your politicians know you expect them to support the public school system.
Together, we can help build stronger schools, stronger communities, and a better world for the next generation. ❤️
