OPEN BOARD POSITIONS!!!
Are you an avid fan of documentary films? Interested in creative pursuits as well as social justice issues? If so, consider becoming a core member of the Harvard Law Documentary Studio. Harvard Law School’s epicenter of all things film, the Doc Studio works to bring the latest and most fascinating documentaries to campus for monthly screenings and panel discussions. The panels typically include a director, producer or affiliate of the film, as well as one to three professors whose work relates to the film’s topic.
Perhaps the most exciting aspect of the Doc Studio's function is the planning and ex*****on of the HLS Annual Documentary Film Festival. Each year the Studio commissions and assists in producing 5-6 student-directed documentaries. Students are able to select an issue of their choice and make a short documentary exploring that topic. Students are selected from any of the Harvard Schools and are provided with technical and advisory support by the Doc Studio.
Here's where you come in! The Doc Studio has a variety of ways to become involved with the important task of bringing film to the HLS campus.
