18 years ago, I was a resident at Brigham and Women’s, high risk pregnancy, unable to help my oldest boy Mauri sign up for Pop Warner football. He needed documents I couldn’t get from my hospital bed.
Mr. Anthony Galluccio stepped in without hesitation. Went to Peabody and got the paperwork required to enroll him and even arranged rides so my son could still play home and away games. I’ve never forgotten that act of kindness.
Now, 18 years later, my Messiah—the baby I was carrying then—received a scholarship from Mr. Galluccio’s organization. A lot has happened in those 18 years but I’m certain Gooch didn’t know Messiah & Ahmauri were siblings. I shared with him on that scholarship morning and he remembered like it was yesterday!
Life came full circle, and I’m beyond grateful. Thank you for being part of both of my sons’ lives💙❤️
