Look like under President Trump's Big, Beautiful Bill the estate tax exemption will be raised from $13.99 million in 2025 to $15 million in 2026.

Really a tragedy Jay Leno has had to petition for a conservatorship court proceeding over his wife. Would have been very easy to avoid if he had had her sign a durable power of attorney when she was still competent.

If you have not signed a durable power of attorney please do so. Hence, your family can avoid having to go through an expensive court proceeding if you become incapacitated.

Please have us or some other attorney prepare a durable power of attorney for you. If you are too cheap, you can use the free form at the Los Angeles Superior Court website:
