Our updated Low Income Taxpayer Clinics (LITC) flyer is now available, highlighting how the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue provides funding to LITCs so they can offer free legal support on state tax issues. This includes audits, appeals, liens, ID theft, and other tax matters. Take a look and see if there is a clinic close to you that may be able to help.

The U.S. Treasury is holding roughly $29 billion in matured savings bonds that nobody has cashed.

If a parent or grandparent ever bought you a savings bond, it may have ceased earning interest years ago and is just sitting there.

How to check:
1. Go to the unclaimed.org and follow search instructions.
2. Follow the steps to redeem anything that turns up.

Old paper bonds in a drawer could be worth far more than their face value. Save this.
