Such an honor.

I went to law school later in life, seeking to make a difference in the lives of those who could not fight for themselves! During law school, I volunteered with Catholic Charities in Los Angeles providing free legal services to those seeking asylum. I quickly became so inspired in my ability to help others that lacked the financial means to seek the legal advice that they needed in order to work and live in this country. As a Persian/American, I feel a responsibility to help others experience the American dream and what it has offered to me. After graduating from law school I knew that I wanted to continue to help my fellow citizens in some way. As a personal injury attorney I have sought out to help people in the poorer communities that would otherwise suffer alone, not knowing that they too have rights, legal protections and the ability to have someone fight for them when their lives have been negatively impacted by someone breaking the law. I believe that while we do have the ability to become financially solvent in our success as attorneys, we also have the responsibility to be an advocate, an ethical duty to dedicate ourselves to helping those unable to otherwise help themselves.
