Come experience the sights, sounds, and excitement of this red, white and blue celebration as we honor 250 years of America!

NEW MEETING LOCATION: The Sumter County Planning and Zoning Special Master Meeting is scheduled on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The meeting will take place at the Gloria Rowe Hayward Sumter County Service Center - 215 Gloria Rowe Hayward Way, Sumterville, FL 33585. The building is located on the northeast corner of the Central Parkway and US 301 intersection.

Celebrate America's 250th Birthday with us in downtown Bushnell!
We are looking for businesses, organizations, churches and families who want to show their patriotic pride by participating in the 1st Patriotic Lamp Post Decorating Contest!
Participants will decorate an (assigned) downtown lamp post in patriotic style in honor of America's 250th Birthday celebration. Decorations will be judged on creativity, presentation and patriotic spirit.

Prizes will be awarded for:
1st Place - 2nd Place - 3rd Place
Winners will be announced during Bushnell's Freedom Fest on the evening of July 2, 2026.

Application Dates: May 20th - June 20th
Decorating Timeframe: June 21st - June 28th
