The Augusta Wedding Show will be held on January 16, 2022, at the Augusta Civic Center. There will be prizes, raffles, and give-a-ways from the vendors.

I can't imagine how horrid the pandemic has been for those who were planning weddings. If you would like a ceremony done for a small group so that you can have a big shindig later, I am totally fine with doing that for you. You can even keep the fact that you're already married a secret if you want. You just need two people as witnesses.

Today I was left at the altar. I was scheduled to perform a wedding ceremony. I was there, but no one else was. “Oh, it’s cancelled, but I couldn’t find your number!” Really?

I saw on Ch. 5 news last night that Carden Kennels in Bangor offers services if you would like your pooch to participate in your wedding. They offer grooming, FB photos, someone to walk puppy down the aisle, and/or a handler for the dog for as long as you wish. Call Wedding and Event Services at 942-2161.

I personally have performed two services with dogs and one with the bridal party on horseback.

Are you planning a destination wedding out of the country? Some weddings performed in other countries won’t be recognized once you return home. To avoid that possibility, have a ceremony performed at home before your destination wedding. Invite as many or as few people as you want. You only need two witnesses.

Sunday I performed a wedding ceremony in Pittsfield. Monday I had a notarial paperwork job in Corinna. And on May 18, I will be playing the organ at a wedding in Winslow.

It is wedding show season. The Bangor Bridal Show will be January 20 from 12 - 3pm at the Morgan Hill Event Center in Hermon. Tickets are $8 - $10.

Then on January 27, the Bangor Wedding Show will be held from 10am - 3pm at the Cross Insurance Center. Tickets are $10 or $30.

I am currently booking events through the end of May. I perform wedding ceremonies and vow renewals plus all types of notary work.
