We're kicking off The People's Law School tomorrow, 4/7, at 6:00pm with a presentation on The 4th Amendment: Understanding Your Rights When Stopped by The Police. I'll be joined on the panel by Attorney Jay Diaz of ACLU-Vermont, Attorney Jess Burke of Burke Law, and former Burlington Police Officer Emmet Helrich.

The People's Law School is a partnership of the Attorney General's Office, the Association of Africans Living in Vermont (AALV), the Vermont Racial Justice Alliance, and the Vermont Institute for Community and International Involvement (VICII).
