We're kicking off The People's Law School tomorrow, 4/7, at 6:00pm with a presentation on The 4th Amendment: Understanding Your Rights When Stopped by The Police. I'll be joined on the panel by Attorney Jay Diaz of ACLU-Vermont, Attorney Jess Burke of Burke Law, and former Burlington Police Officer Emmet Helrich.

The People's Law School is a partnership of the Attorney General's Office, the Association of Africans Living in Vermont (AALV), the Vermont Racial Justice Alliance, and the Vermont Institute for Community and International Involvement (VICII). It is supported by ACLU of Vermont and The Caroline Fund.
